Scoutd vs Unwrappa: A Complete Comparison (2026)

By Oliver Karlsson, Founder of Scoutd · Oct 21, 2026

TL;DR

Unwrappa and Scoutd are both Swedish platforms where brands find creators and creators are manually reviewed, and the difference is how far each one takes you. Unwrappa helps you find a creator and start a collaboration, while Scoutd handles the whole process: finding the creator, agreeing the terms, reviewing the delivery, and tracking the invoice and payment. If all you need is a big list of creators to browse for free, Unwrappa is a fair place to start, but if you want the collaboration handled from first message to final invoice, Scoutd is the better option.

Where Scoutd fits

Scoutd is a Swedish marketplace where brands find hand-reviewed creators and run the whole collaboration in one place. Search by niche, follower range, platform and city, build a shortlist, invite creators and run campaigns, whether that is a paid organic post, UGC or PR. When you've found the right creator, you agree the terms in an in-chat agreement, review the delivery, and follow the invoice through to paid. Campaigns and invites are unlimited on both plans, and creators join and apply for free. We never handle the money: payment goes directly between brand and creator, and we keep track of where it stands. The upside is that nothing about a collaboration lives in scattered email threads, spreadsheets or half-remembered DMs. The trade-off is a smaller pool than Unwrappa's, so if you need the longest list of creators in a very common niche, check that we have the people you're after before you start your trial.

Why this comparison exists

Brands in Sweden searching for creators now have more than agencies and Instagram DMs to choose from. Unwrappa is the closest like-for-like alternative to Scoutd, and brands ask us about it often enough that it deserves a straight answer.

Reading the numbers

Unwrappa's sticker prices are lower, and its free plan has no card and no time limit. Unwrappa Plus (399 SEK/month) is 91 SEK cheaper per month than Scoutd Starter (490 SEK), and billed annually Plus is 2,390 SEK against 4,900 SEK for Starter.

The plans aren't like-for-like, and what the extra money buys is clear. Unwrappa limits invitations (30 a month on Plus, 100 on Pro). Both Scoutd plans have unlimited invites and unlimited campaigns, and they also include the agreement, delivery review and invoice tracking that Unwrappa's pages don't describe. If you plan to work with creators every month, you pay once and don't run into a cap or need a second tool to handle the paperwork.

Creators get the same deal. On Unwrappa, 5 applications a month are free, 30 cost 79 SEK/month and unlimited costs 149 SEK/month. A Scoutd creator account is free, with unlimited applications.

Creator supply

Unwrappa's homepage states 750+ verified creators across 10+ categories, with this size split: under 10k followers 81%, 10–50k 16%, over 50k 3%. We have 80+ verified creators across 14 niches. Neither platform sets a minimum follower count. Both figures are self-published, and I haven't audited Unwrappa's.

Unwrappa has the bigger pool today, and if you need dozens of options in a very common niche, that matters. We are growing fast (the pool has roughly doubled since September), we review every creator by hand, and our filters for niche, follower range, platform and city make a smaller pool quick to search. For most brands running their first few campaigns, the right five or ten creators matter more than a list of seven hundred.

Trust and verification

Both platforms review creators manually before they appear.

Unwrappa

Unwrappa says it checks follower authenticity, engagement quality and content consistency, for every creator and every brand. Its terms say all accounts are manually approved and that it can reject or suspend accounts without giving a reason.

Scoutd

Scoutd manually reviews every creator. We check profile completeness, that the social account is real and public, whether the follower count and engagement look genuine, and content fit and quality. Unverified profiles are not visible in search, and rejected applicants get a stated reason. Follower counts and performance details are still self-reported, and we say so openly on the creator page.

Campaigns

Unwrappa

Unwrappa is built around campaigns. Verified creators apply and the brand chooses, or the brand invites creators directly. PR campaigns are on the free plan; paid, UGC and commission collaborations need a paid plan. Free PR campaigns have no enforced posting rule; posting is required on paid collaborations. Commission codes are created and tracked in the brand's own e-commerce, not by Unwrappa. A separately priced managed-campaign service exists (price not published).

Scoutd

Scoutd works the same way in outline: brands create campaigns and invite creators, and creators apply. On both plans the number of campaigns and invites is unlimited, and creators can apply as often as they like. We support organic post campaigns, where the creator is paid to promote a product, as well as UGC and PR campaigns. PR can come with a posting requirement or with no strings attached. We don't offer sales-based commission collaborations.

Agreements, delivery and payment

This is where the two platforms differ most, and it's the reason Scoutd exists.

Unwrappa

Unwrappa says it is not a party to the collaboration, does not handle, hold or relay payments, and that each party handles its own taxes. Payment is made outside the platform, by invoice or directly. Its pages describe finding creators and starting the collaboration. They don't describe agreements, delivery review or invoices, so those steps are left to you and the creator.

Scoutd

Scoutd covers those steps in the platform. You agree the terms in an in-chat agreement with a document number, versions and a propose/counter cycle, signed by both sides with legal details stored at signing. After that we track delivery, review, invoice and payment status, so you can see where every collaboration stands without chasing anyone. Creators enter bank details only when they create an invoice, and we don't store them. Scoutd never processes the payment. All of this is live for brands and creators on both plans.

  • The agreement is a record of what both sides agreed in the platform. It is not a BankID e-signature and not legal advice.
  • The invoice template follows Skatteverket's invoice requirements.

How we compared

This comparison is written by Scoutd's founder, so read it with that in mind. Everything about Unwrappa comes from unwrappa.com, unwrappa.com/about and unwrappa.com/terms (terms updated September 2026), which I read on 6 October 2026, and everything about Scoutd comes from scoutd.se, scoutd.se/for-brands, scoutd.se/for-creators and scoutd.se/terms, with figures updated on 21 October 2026. A "—" in the tables means the vendor's public pages don't say, and we don't assume it means "no". Creator counts and collaboration numbers are each company's own claims and were not audited. If you spot an error, send corrections to contact@scoutd.se and we'll update the page with a dated note.

The bottom line

Finding a creator is the easy half of influencer marketing. The hard half starts after the first message: agreeing what will be delivered, chasing the content, approving it, and getting the invoice and payment sorted. Unwrappa's own pages stop at the introduction. Payment happens outside the platform, and the platform is not a party to the collaboration.

Scoutd handles the entire process. You find the creator, agree the terms in the chat, review the delivery, and follow the invoice through to paid, all in one place, with unlimited campaigns and invites on both plans. Unwrappa is bigger today, and it's cheaper to start. But if you want a platform that does the whole job and not half of it, Scoutd is the better option.
